Tom McClusky
Strategic Advisor
Tom McClusky is a Strategic Advisor for Off Hill Strategies and has a long history of both local and national campaign experience. He is currently the principal of Greenlight Strategies LLC, which represents conservative, freedom, and health care interests on Capitol Hill.
After stints with the Republican National Committee and the multi-billion dollar Coastal Corporation in its Washington, D.C. office, he became Senior Policy Analyst for the National Taxpayers Union and National Taxpayers Union Foundation (NTU/NTUF), where he was responsible for formulating policy analyses, reports, and editorials on numerous topics for NTU and NTUF.
After NTU, Mr. McClusky worked as Senior Vice President of Government Affairs for the Family Research Council (FRC) and FRC Action, the legislative arm of FRC. In that role, he lobbied Congress and state legislatures on life, marriage, and religious liberty issues. Mr. McClusky followed FRC by helping to establish a legislative arm for the historic March for Life, where he served as President of March for Life Action. He has been named repeatedly by The Hill newspaper as one of the top grassroots lobbyists in D.C.
He has appeared on many radio and television talk shows, and his works have appeared in numerous publications. However, his proudest media claim to fame is that Keith Olbermann once named him the "Worst Person in the World."
