There is no law on the books that adequately protects knife owners who transport a knife from a locality or state where the knife is legal to another locality or state where it is legal if they happen to pass through an area where it is not legal.
We have worked to educate stakeholders about the practical problems that are related to this issue.
The Results
Legislation is being considered in Congress to protect law abiding individuals who properly transport knives.
