We assisted an organization that aimed to help with the restoration of prisoners and the reformation of the U.S. prison system.
It is undoubtedly true that violent crime must be punished according to the law. At the same time, many prisoners in the prison system are unable to re-enter society to become productive, tax-paying citizens. Our prison system must include mechanisms to help restore and rehabilitate prisoners for not only their benefit but for the benefit of society as well.
The organization we assisted, provided programming to support prisoners and educate Congress about needed prison reforms.
The Results
Some prison reform measures were passed in Congress.
